What is it?
[edit]Is it really too much to ask that articles such as this say in the introduction, in a simple and clear way, what it actually is? If it weren't for the accompanying pictures there's nothing in the introduction to indicate that the article is even about rocks and mountains. All it says is it's part of an 'intrusive suite' for which there's no explanation and I have to follow two or three links before I get any idea what that means. If I've understood it's a rock formation that has been pushed up through the surrounding landscape by the action of magma beneath the surface. Can't it say that? By all means have as much technical information in the article as necessary but the introduction shouldn't assume we're all petrologists! 130.246.132.177 (talk) 10:44, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
