The result of the move request was: Not moved: No response from initial nominator, even after relisting and compelling single objection. Move did not address WP:ENGLISH (non-admin closure) Ebonelm (talk) 20:27, 2 December 2016 (UTC)
Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Help (Valencia, Venezuela) → Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help – Nuestra Señora/Virgen de Socorro is "Our Lady of Perpetual Help" in English. The dab parentheses are unneeded now and will be unneeded with the new name. Elizium23 (talk) 03:54, 14 November 2016 (UTC)

- Oppose. I get only one ghit for the proposed name and 85 for the current name. The translation has little relevance, and there is no claim in the rationale that the common name in English is anything other than the current title, let alone any evidence. I considered relisting again, but this just seems a classic case of nom ignoring all the pleas to first read WP:AT before proposing a move. Andrewa (talk) 15:29, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: Moved to Valencia Cathedral (Venezuela). Consensus developed on the alternative title. (closed by non-admin page mover) – robertsky (talk) 13:14, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Help (Valencia, Venezuela) → Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help – Repair non-idiomatic name. Nobody prays to "Our Lady of Help". Reliable sources for "Nuestra Senora de Socorro" indicate that it is invariably translated this way. - Move to Valencia Cathedral (Venezuela). Clearly its common name. We usually use this terminology for cathedrals. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:22, 7 December 2022 (UTC)

More citations needed
[edit]Added tag after a copy edit. It seems like there should be better sources out there on the construction, renovation, and historical leaders of the diocese. Likewise for the Marian image housed in the church. I wasn't able to turn up many English language sources, and the Spanish wiki only cites two sources (although it does have more info, overall).
