[edit]Why would you remove "legendary"? It's not like it's controversial. That might not have the right ring, but there should be something that indicates the Stanleys were not just A bluegrass band, but one of the most influential of all time. BZFGT
- Carter Stanley is not "legendary"; he was a historical person, not part of a legend. If you feel that the Stanley Brothers were one of the most influential bluegrass bands, put that in the article (be sure to cite someone). For example, membership in the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Honor. Cmadler 02:38, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
Incorrect Photo
[edit]The photo is not of Carter Stanley. It is a photo of guitarist Chris Sharp, strangely identified in the promo photo as Jimmy Martin. 174.211.38.27 (talk) 02:40, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
