2change or not2 (this sentence/term)
[edit]Castile = Castile (historical region) to Castile-La Mancha.
- It was an ancient region of Spain, located from...to..., including approxº, the present independent communities of Madrid and Castile.
- vs the former sentence (it's the one that is at the article), I think is better this one:
- Ancient region of Spain (...) including approxº, the present independent communities of Madrid and Castile-La Mancha.
So, I think we must change: Castile = Castile (historical region) to Castile-La Mancha (the real present Community, for a better understanding of Carpetania limits).
- Castile (historical region), regional hub of Castile.
- Before the present democratic regime:
- Old Castile (8), northern region of Castile
- New Castile (Spain) (5), southern region of Castile
- See : Reconquista (centuries from VIII to XV)) for both.
- Now:
- Castile and León (9), roughly similar to Old Castile
- Castile-La Mancha (5), roughly similar to New Castile
- Community of Madrid (1).
Note: Fot the (two/four) Castiles, I do the calculation in relation to our present situation (8=9-3+1+1) for Old Castile, & (5=5-1+1) for New Castile (Spain). These (no.) are Spanish provinces numbers about. Although it's another subject, I note that u may look at: Cantabria, La Rioja & Region of Murcia to understand these two calculations (those Spanish changes).
I change it. --PLA y Grande Covián (talk) 12:24, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
