Reliable sources?
[edit]The article seems to rely entirely on the Corps' website and a statistics website. It needs to establish the Corps' notability by adding some reliable, independent sources. However, I can see from a US news search that there are several news articles that exist in local papers. Sionk (talk) 18:13, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
Music Linking
[edit]Should we link to a band if it responsible for a work of music the corps has played, or just link to the musicians themselves? Aaathomas08 (talk) 22:39, 5 June 2017 (UTC) aaathomas08
- Corps often list performers (bands and/or soloists) known for a tune rather than the actual composer(s). I try to make sure the right writer(s) is credited. If a tune was written by two or members of a band, I will include a link for the band in parentheses; occasionally, I will credit the band even if only one member wrote it (for example: Shofukan by Michael League (Snarky Puppy)...).GWFrog (talk) 03:16, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
- @GWFrog, Thank you for everything you’ve done to ensure the accuracy of these repertoires! Bgsu98 (talk) 22:41, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
- Whilke I have been updating repertoires on DCX, I haven't yet gotten around to correcting a number of entries in Wikipedia articles that I know are wrong. I will get to them eventually. GWFrog (talk) 14:39, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
