The City
Merge
There is a tiny unsourced stub for The City (group). It passed an AfD back in 2006, but other than that has never received any sources that I can see. How about we just merge any appropriate information here to the Carole King article, and set up the other link as a redirect? --Elonka 03:16, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
Merged
I have merged in The City article into the Carol King article now all we have to do is set up a redirect.86.173.214.201 (talk) 17:41, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
- Approve the merge. --BwB (talk) 19:29, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
How I do approve the merge? --BwB ? --86.135.190.151 (talk) 16:32, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
Redirect
Did anyone set up a redirect? Because I have merged the city (group) into the Carole King article. --81.159.38.209 (talk) 18:12, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, the redirect has now been done. SilkTork *YES! 23:42, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
List of songs
There should be a list of songs which she wrote, such as "I'm Into Something Good". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.112.81.18 (talk) 15:34, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

Additional Citations
Why, what, where, and how does this article need additional citations for verification? Hyacinth (talk) 17:05, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
- The simple answer, IMHO, is that it doesn't need any more. It has unfortunately been the victim of drive-by tagging on more that one occasion (along with a large number of other articles on (mainly female) celebrities) by a small number of editors, which has added nothing to the articles in question. This sort of editing has been repeatedly brought to the attention of at least one of these editors recently. I've consolidated some of the tags in this article, and would support removing others. Debut Album
I misread the list of albums and thought Tapestry was her first; that would be Writer. Thank you for correcting my mistake. RaqiwasSushi (talk) 23:32, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
Executives?
Different Carole King, I believe:
... our one never married Brian King. Timeline's all wrong too. --Matt Westwood 07:43, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
personal life
This article has very little about her personal life. She tells a lot about herself in her recent Fresh Air interview, where she's promoting a new memoir. Obviously the memoir would have a great deal more information. I don't have a copy of the book, but based on what she told about herself in the interview I think it would be a worthwhile source – for her career, in addition to her personal life. A point from the interview I found particularly poignant was where she said that she regretted one of her songs (He Hit Me (It Felt Like a Kiss)) because the way it had been produced it sounded like an endorsement of domestic violence – and years later she found herself stuck in an abusive relationship. That seems notable, since it ties together with both her personal life and her writing career. —Steve98052 (talk) 10:25, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
formative years
I know this sounds mundane but I had heard that for a brief time she also lived in Rosedale, NY. Which would certainly fit in with her going to Queens College as well as being in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood and thus marrying someone with nearly an Israeli surname.
