Jewish?
[edit]According to the William Hartnell page, Carole is Jewish (but that page provides no source for this information.) Is it true? Does anyone have a source for that for this page? Cheers. 66.187.239.10 (talk) 02:57, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- The source is listed as a radio times interview... except that if the article was ever there, it's a dead link now. A search of the site shows no record of an interview. It also apparently includes an alleged accusation by Nicholas Courtney that Hartnell was antisemitic. It's completely possible that the whole thing is bogus. 24.99.61.188 (talk) 07:10, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
- A second source is an audio reading of Courtney's memoirs. If someone has a hard copy they can check. 24.99.61.188 (talk) 07:12, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
This source states that Ford is Jewish: http://www.jewishnews.net.au/doctor-whos-jewish-roots/33222 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.134.223.218 (talk) 10:21, 23 November 2013 (UTC)
Spoilers
[edit]"She left the series in an emotional farewell scene in 1964 at the conclusion of The Dalek Invasion of Earth" Is that information needed? I'm sure many fans such as myself would prefer it if it was changed to something like this: "She left the series in 1964" (no spoilers at all) 58.161.196.111 (talk) 23:56, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
Recent (2013) interview
[edit]I don't have time to modify the article now, but there is some good stuff in this interview:
- Moreton, Cole (2013-04-08). "Doctor Who 'destroyed my career': Time-traveller's first assistant, Carole Ann Ford, wishes she could turn back the clock". Calgary Herald. Retrieved 2013-04-23.

Inconsistency
[edit]Article claims she has had a "long and diverse acting career" but then notes she mostly stopped acting after the late 70s. Unless her theater career has been that prolific (and that's not so quantified in the page), that language ought to be reconciled.Aresef (talk) 01:07, 16 April 2017 (UTC)
