Pain During Awareness

[edit]

Why does this article state that "she didn't feel any pain" during here awareness episode? It backs up this claim by linking to a CNN article which quotes her as saying, "I felt like I was being scalded from the inside. Tremendous burning -- it was like I was being roasted on a barbecue pit."

She doesn't report feeling the pain from the surgical removal of her eye although she felt non-pain portions of the surgery such as extreme pressure, tugging; however she does report the pain she describes above from administering of one of the anesthesia drugs when the surgical team became aware that she was awake.

In general I find this article is written with the object of minimizing or discrediting with a wording of doubt her when there is no dispute about her awareness during the surgery. 75.32.106.91 (talk) 22:13, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
