remove Genesis 4:1

[edit]

Adam knew his wife means that they slept together in bed like anyone still does but when God said be fruitful and multiply he said if from a general perspective, not a personal one, so it's not carnal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 120.155.94.7 (talk) 04:07, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Bible never refers to Abraham and Hagar or Abraham and Sarah having sexual intercourse because it is only for a married couple and also for God to know about. In Leviticus it talks about sex from a general perspective and not a personal perspective.

So Adam "knew" his wife is not referring to carnal knowledge and it has nothing to do with a penis and vagina. Whoever put it on the page is a blasphemer. Bible respects sexual privacy. Knew means they slept in bed and they compassion.
