Cleanup and sourcing
[edit]There appears to be very little information on Karmit online, although I found one source (Ynet article from 2003) confirming that it exists, so at least it's not a hoax. However, more sources should definitely be added, including an update on the project. I have not been able to find any source from 2008 or later about this new village. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 01:26, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
Edit: Forgot to mention that the article needs to be cleanup up ASAP. More importantly though, what should be the name? While mentions of the village are practically non-existent online, Carmit is definitely more common than Karmit (WP:HE), but I think it's too early to tell. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 01:28, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
There are news articles about it spelled both Carmit and Karmit. Type in keywords:Karmit Negev or Carmit Negev. news google archives has quite a few articles.Historicist (talk) 21:05, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
Carmit is the more common spelling by far. I'm moving the page.Historicist (talk) 21:08, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
IT'S REEEEEEEEEEEAL
[edit]I've added a couple of refs from 2011, one from JPost and one from the South African Zionist Federation. According to the JPost, 1-"Construction of the first neighborhood has already begun" and 2-"the Jewish Agency and the Metar Regional Council, are aiming to create a multifaceted new community with a heavy emphasis on encouraging young Anglo immigrant families". Maybe that should be written into the article. (Pardon the Section Headline. I had an episode of Star Trek playing when I was writing this. Seemed à propos.) --@Efrat (talk) 05:46, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
