Awkward sentence
[edit]The sentence "before Carmelo joined the 2004 USA Olympic basketball team, he was Punk'd by Ashton Kutcher's crew members for falsely believing that Carmelo's friends trashed the room that was worth $10,000 in damages," sounds a bit stilted to me, but I can't think of a good way to rephrase it, since I'm not familiar with the exact nature of the Punk. Any suggestions? Microtonal 19:57, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Controversy
[edit]Why is there no mention of his appearing in the "all rats must die" gangster video that threatened the life of witnesses in drug cases?
There should also be a statement about his attitude in an appearance on an episode of Punk'd. He displayed no class whatsoever. This is a possible foreshadowing of the in-game brawl.
where is all his info...what about his personal life?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.66.200.83 (talk • contribs)
Orangemen, not Orange
[edit]At the time Anthony played for the SU basketball team, they were known as the Orangemen.
A living legend
[edit]This was added to his nickname box. A google search for "living legend" and "Carmelo Anthony" yielded 365 results. None of those results referred to Carmelo as the living legend. Please don't do that.

Stop Snitchin'
[edit]Considering the amount of controversy that Carmelo has found himself in - particularly with the Stop Snitchin' nonsense - it's ridiculous that absolutely no mention is made about some of the more negative aspects of Carmelo's NBA career. No, I am not a "Carmelo hater"; despite the Stop Snitchin' idiocy, I actually don't harbor negative feelings towards him. And I'm not suggesting that the article be turned into a personal attack or anything like that. But the article as it is reads like a puff piece you'd find on NBA.com.
