Wondering
[edit]I was wondering...Isn't it that December 8, the day when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, is depicted as the birthday of Vito Corleone and not Mama Carmella? Just checking if my memory serves me right.203.111.236.39 22:30, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- Are you sure about the name spelling? The correct italian name would be Carmela, without the double L. --87.25.180.102 10:35, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
2009 - My Daughter's name is Carmella (double L)and this is a family italian name.
- I live in Sicily and Carmela is never spelled with a double L.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 19:07, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
- In the Italian language, Carmela (pronounced Car-may-la), would alter it's pronunciation with a double L, being instead pronounced as Car-mel-la. Anyway, there is no such name in Italy as Carmella.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 14:31, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
