[edit]He is the chairman of one of World's biggest telecom companies, reason enough for an article to be there on wikipedia on him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sunnyji 2k (talk • contribs) 21:33, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
This is a duplicate of Carlos Slim
[edit]Article exists as Carlos Slim. --Morenooso (talk) 10:02, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Hmmm, I do a lot of rating for articles I come across and initially rated this Stub, Low. However, the Mexico WP may view it as Mid because of what is going on with father. I am more inclined to re-rate it Stub, Mid. --Morenooso (talk) 10:41, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
Editing dispute
[edit]What the? Carlos Slim senior (Carlos Slim Helú, richest man in the world, per Forbes) controls Telmex[[1]]. Anything "published" by that site, referred to here as Telefonos de Mexico, about a member of the Slim family is de facto self-published.
I want to settle the recent edit war. I don't think the information should be added as per WP:BLP, as all sources about living people must be very reliable.Jasper Deng (talk) 03:34, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
- I can see nothing contentious about the claim, nor does it fall within "challenged or likely to be challenged". Moreover the site is published by Telefonos de Mexico S.A.B. de C.V., so calling it "self published" is stretching things a little. Certainly this is not the kind of thing the policy is aimed at.
