The Cuba article has the son replacing Machado and then being replaced by Batista. This says Machado replaced him. --Beardo06:58, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This "personal" portion of the article was confusing people.
The revolutionary hero de Cespedes who died in 1874 was named President during a revolutionary Cuba titled "President of the Republic of Cuba at Arms". The confusion at least to me was because a son with his name also was named President of Cuba in 1933. So if you didn't have prior knowledge you could easily get confused. Look at the previous talk entry. That reader was confused. I edited the entry to differentiate the two President positions and better document.
At the top of the article it gives his date of birth as 1810. Later, in the vital statistics and life summary section, it is given as 1819. Which is correct? — Preceding unsigned comment added by PaleHorse67 (talk • contribs) 11:33, 2 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
