Petrini on the pope
[edit]I just wanted to explain why I removed the final sentence about Petrini on the pope and the environment. To me, it seemed out of place as the conclusion of a very brief biographical summary and I notice it has attracted a disproportionate amount of editorial attention. A longer article on Italian WP has no mention of the question. However, I have been able to find the interview where Petrini discusses the pope's views on ecology, saying that although he's an agnostic he does appreciate and support Ratzinger's position. So the statement I removed was basically correct but, I think, misleading as the conclusion of this stub-like page. On the other hand, the information could certainly find space within a more extended article containing separate sections dedicated to different aspects of Petrini's thought.MistyMorn (talk) 17:29, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
