There's no "public political affiliation" here. He's never made a public political statement either way, other than saying that he always votes** (said during a Raiders Q&A and without saying for whom he's voted or asking others to vote for a particular person or party). He's never publicly supported a particular candidate or a particular party. The mere fact of someone's political registration on a ballot application is rarely noteworthy enough to make it into any Wikipedia article, including this one.
[**I can't find the link now, but he said that in a recorded interview put up on the Raiders site; it was an answer to a reporter's question circa October 2020 about the Raiders giving paid time off so their employees could vote. He said something innocuous like "I didn't know that. That's great. I always vote."] Moncrief (talk) 23:56, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Nassib is, or seems to be, an Arabic name, but Carl doesn’t look Middle Eastern. Think more information on is family and heritage is needed. 72.134.250.144 (talk) 16:14, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
As per WP:NOTBROKEN and § Link specificity above, do not use a piped link where it is possible to use a redirected term that fits well within the scope of the text.
In your edit summary, it's not clear what "disbanded link" refers to. Are you referring to the move discussion at Talk:LGBT#Requested_move_28_May_2022? If so, that is a discussion regarding that page's title, which doesn't preclude LGBTQ from being linked to from other pages. I have no opinion on whether Nassib's page displays LGBT or LGBTQ; however, if the latter is shown, there is no need to pipe it. Regards. —Bagumba (talk) 08:39, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, what I mean by disbanded is that the link LGBTQ is empty and doesn't show anything. LGBTQ is mentioned in the article LGBT. Anything that is linked as LGBTQ automatically gets redirected to the LGBT page. Welcometothenewmillenium (talk) 11:31, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
