Which calendar?

Should the birth and death dates to be given by the old or by the new calendar? It seems that the article uses currently dates by the old calendar, this source gives birth and death dates as 27.01.1832–21.11.1908. Beagel (talk) 11:20, 16 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
