Notability
[edit]I noticed this got tagged for notability. I see this a lot with musicians and bands but Gardner was a member of the BSO, wrote at least 8 books that were published with Carl Fischer (a major music publisher), Owned a company, and started a trade group for manufacturers of instruments. If none of that is notable then I guess the tag is right. But there are lots of approved articles on people who’ve done less. Ryukin (talk) 03:38, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
-Update: In an effort to improve the quality of the page I have added 3 additional publications of Gardner's and a few other tidbits of information, plus references from about 9 new print publications; various published books, theses from universities, or periodical articles. Hopefully this will help address the issues raised. Ryukin (talk) 00:10, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
