His title of "Father of Modern Taxidermy" in question

A British naturalist named John Hancock (24 February 1808 – 11 October 1890) was a predecessor of Akeley's. Both are referred to as the "Father of Modern Taxidermy". Thoughts? – Down time (talk) 16:02, 7 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
