Relationship to Julius Petri
[edit]Does anyone know if Carl Petri is related to Julius Petri (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julius_Richard_Petri), after whom the Petri dish is named?
- At least not directly, Julius Petri did not have any children. Source is the (german) "Neue deutsche Biographie, Bd.: 20, Pagenstecher - Püterich, Berlin, 2001" as referenced in the german article on Julius Noleti (talk) 04:57, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
