Question
What on earth does "Carl's Jr." actually mean? Am I just tired, or was the writer of Idiocracy on to something with his use of the brand? P g chris (talk) 10:28, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
- I might suggest reading the article. Lambertman (talk) 21:05, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Taco de Carlos
Added section in "History" about 'Taco de Carlos'. I can't believe nobody caught this omission before. It was one of the major heartburn havens of Orange county in the 70's and early 80's. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.96.106.130 (talk) 13:57, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- because the article isnt about how important people in California think they are in the grand scheme of things. Orange County was unheard-of outside of California until someone made a failed primetime show about it. But to keep this comment on topic with the article (and avoid the record-keeping-violating deletion bot Not), this article might be toned down to relieve some of the self-righteous pride in the wording. One editor already admitted that the #4 rating was subject to interpretation. I would like to offer that its subject to be not accurate at all. At the risk of being orig research, I have lived in 4 of the states and 2 of the countries listed for this company... and never once heard of it until that movie came out. I still travel these areas (even intl) and have yet to see a single outlet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.1.46.22 (talk) 10:11, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Carl's and Hardee's pages contradict each other
Is CKE the #4 or #5 QSR chain? Lambertman (talk) 14:15, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- It is number four in terms of locations. Jack In The Box has larger revenues, but 1000 fewer locations than CKE. - Jeremy (Jerem43 (talk) 16:24, 13 January 2008 (UTC))
- Thank you. Lambertman (talk) 14:14, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
What about Taco Bell : 6000 locations & isn't Jack in the box larger now ... 2200 locations... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.62.246.30 (talk) 00:39, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
Expanding
Car's Jr is not expanding in to Singapore -- it has been established and open for business in Singapore for quite a while already. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.89.67.86 (talk) 06:52, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
Might I add on a similar note that the beginning paragraph mentioning that "Carls JR is currently expanding into yadda yadda yadda..." Makes it sound as if it has not established itself in the mentioned countries yet I know for a fact that in a few of them, Mexico for instance, CArl's Jr has had a national presence for well over 20 years. <insert singature here>
Carls Jr is also expanding into Canada, as well. I saw no mention of it, but I'm employed at a location in Grande Prairie, AB — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.129.225.26 (talk) 12:49, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, http://www.carlsjr.ca/ shows five locations in BC and 1 in AB. — Preceding unsigned comment added by VancouverJan (talk • contribs) 05:24, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
Carl's jr's way of serving
I don't know if they still do it, but last time I was there, I was given a number after I ordered. When my food was ready, they brought my food to they table I was sitting at. There is no mention of this in the article. I have not encountered anything like it at any other fast food place. Map
The map on the page should be updated to show Louisiana as having both brands. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.168.109.35 (talk) 20:23, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
