Clarifying picture
[edit]Hello,
I found this aerial shot here from msnbc, which shows the downed aircraft just yards passed the runway. The tail wings are basically resting atop the perimeter fence with the section between tail wings and main wings resting on the socalled "road" past the fence.

- It seems consistent with the current description in the article. I added a link to the photo to the article. - Ahunt (talk) 13:52, 31 July 2011 (UTC)
Why did you delete {{airreg|9Y|PBM}} & the functioning aviation-safety.net link? Richardc020 (talk) 07:29, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
- The link was a dead link (the page it linked to says "Your query, 9Y-PBM, produced no results. Please try again."), so I removed it. Furthermore, regardless that someone created a template for the purposes of inserting external links into articles, WP:EL says "Wikipedia articles may include links to web pages outside Wikipedia (external links), but they should not normally be used in the body of an article." The accident report on ASN was added as an external link in the text, but was a dead link to a blank page. When it was re-added in the external link section, correctly linking to a real article on ASN, I turned it into a reference, which is how it should be used, there is no need to include external links that can be used as refs instead. - Ahunt (talk) 11:55, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
