Swedish musical group ?_
[edit]The caramba is an ancient type of stringed musical instrument:

Also, the ¡Ay, caramba! article mentions something about "lace" and a female composer called María Antonia Fernández??? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.20.148.167 (talk) 02:54, 17 April 2007 (UTC).
Availability on CD
[edit]Does anybody know if the Caramba album has ever been re-released as CD? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skippeltz (talk • contribs) 20:17, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- Unfortunately the Caramba album has yet to appear on CD.Ferdinandhudson (talk) 14:04, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- The album was issued on CD in Sweden in February 2011 by a Swedish record company called Riverside Records (not to be confused by an American one by the same name). The CD includes bonus tracks, some issued as singles tracks around the time of the LPs release. Ferdinandhudson (talk) 18:26, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
Spotify
[edit]I found this album on Spotify.
It has 14 tracks, which are as follows. 1. Ali Baba 2. Spotnjik 3. Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot 4. Parentzoe 5. Eine Feine 6. Fido 7. Aitho 8. Anna Kapoe 9. Donna Maya 10. Ahllo 11. Carhumba 12. Hare Christmes 13. Ralf & Rolf 14. Parentzoe 2
- That is also the tracklist of the Swedish CD release. Track 14 was originally titled "Zoltan Zulls julhälsning" (translated: Zoltan Zull's Christmas Greeting) and was also included on the Michael B. Tretow Greatest Hits CD (1999). Ferdinandhudson (talk) 18:26, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot Mash-Ups
[edit]Also, there is a mash-up video combining Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot and the anime El-Hazard that was well regarded in anime music video circles. There was a more recent video combining the same song and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Kia-Ora version
[edit]_? Added a section:
The track "Fido" was slightly reworked by Caramba, named "Fedora" and used in an advertising campaign for Kia-Ora throughout the early 80s. This version was released as a single on the "Billco" label (BILL 101) in 1983 titled "Fedora (I'll be your dawg)" - Caramba (B side "Ralph and Rolph")
