Name?
[edit]Does anyone know when it was called this awful American sounding name of "capital hill"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.240.69.86 (talk) 10:04, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
Things to make this article complete
[edit]a few things that could make this article better:
- access - Melb Ave, Kings Ave, Comm'th Ave. Ramps etc. Federation Mall.
- bus routes
- recreational facilities - walking track, tennis courts, PM's gardens, fitness curcuit
- surrounding suburbs.
- No permanant population, but about 1500 people work in Parl in non-sitting weeks and 3000 in sitting weeks - including politicians, and their advisors, but also a very significant support staff - cooks, cleaners, ushers, tour guides, security, committee staff, gardeners, audio/visual tech people, media etc.
(I've put this here for my own reference more than anything else, but feel free to go ahead and write it)
unless anybody can think of anything else, I think we can just about call this article complete. Adz 13:55, 25 August 2005 (UTC)
