Name?

Does anyone know when it was called this awful American sounding name of "capital hill"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.240.69.86 (talk) 10:04, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

a few things that could make this article better:

access - Melb Ave, Kings Ave, Comm'th Ave. Ramps etc. Federation Mall.
bus routes
recreational facilities - walking track, tennis courts, PM's gardens, fitness curcuit
surrounding suburbs.
No permanant population, but about 1500 people work in Parl in non-sitting weeks and 3000 in sitting weeks - including politicians, and their advisors, but also a very significant support staff - cooks, cleaners, ushers, tour guides, security, committee staff, gardeners, audio/visual tech people, media etc.

(I've put this here for my own reference more than anything else, but feel free to go ahead and write it)
