Press releases

I've removed two press releases ([1] and [2]), firstly because they are potentially copy-and-pastes of copyright material, and secondly because this is not the place for them. Removal of light house images

The images of the two light houses are relevant to the article. The stadium is being constructed on what is known as Green Point Common and the Green Point Lighthouse is an existing land mark which has relevance. While the Mouile Point Lighthouse no longer exists Mouile Point does and the image of the Boer War Prisoner Transit Camp contains an image of the Mouile Point Lighthouse which could easily be confused with the Green Point Lighthouse. Why not enhance the article by expanding the section on the history of the old stadium and the site?Gregorydavid (talk) 06:47, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Fair enough, I am not well versed enough on the history, so perhaps someone else should write it. At the time of removing the images, there was no explanation or reference to them in the text - it was merely an article about a stadium, with no pictures of the new stadium (I added one now) and two photos of an unmentioned lighthouse. I don't think an image of the lighthouse is important, but perhaps some words are. Looking at some example pages of other stadiums, it seems that all the photos are of the stadium. I think a link to the page on the lighthouse is most suitable.

I've assessed this article as C-Class. A lot of existing content needs to be referenced to get it up to B-Class. Also, some additional content could be included (such as reasons for building the stadium over renovating Newlands). Ron2K (talk) 16:17, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

Views on 2010-11 PSL section

I feel that this section may be a bit too much. With 15 Ajax CT macthes sheduled for this year, that section will get very big. Also, it doesn't seem like many stadium articles list every league match played at them. Perhaps just something about Ajax playing their home matches their, and something about hosting the double-header, instead of a table with all the matches. Why?

Newlands did not have the capacity for a Soccer World Cup and belongs to WP Rugby and not the City--Scottykira (talk) 13:54, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Concert section

Does the table need to include prices? I feel that this make it seem more like an advert, and less like an encyclopedia entry. I'd like to have the price column removed. Objections? Crazydude22 (talk) 16:34, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
