why?

[edit]

Why is this article not called Cape May Light HOUSE? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.111.222.3 (talk) 01:25, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Because the Coast Guard calls them "lights". Mangoe (talk) 04:40, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
But the common name is lighthouse, and that's what Wikipedia follows. Moving the page. oknazevad (talk) 15:17, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Planning to Add a Few Sentences of Lighthouse Views

[edit]

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to post this prior to actually updating the page, but I'd like to add a sentence or two at the end of the first paragraph, pointing out Cape May Lighthouse's views of Cape May Cove and Battery 223, with a link to Wikipedia's Battery 223 article. If you have any objections, concerns, or suggestions, just let me know.13theguy13 (talk) 19:22, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
