Commander vs Captain

I think it's worth mentioning, when the apparent discrepancy between the cap'n's name and rank is mentioned in the article, that when someone is a "Captain" that can either be their rank, or just mean that they command a ship. Therefore, someone ranking commander could still command a ship and thus be rightfully called a captain.
