Deleted sentence

[edit]

@Skingo12: I notice that in the last 24 hours the sentence "The school implemented an anti-religious radicalization programme in 2016" has been deleted twice by IP user 2001:8003:26c6:200:9990:13ef:3acb:f3a5 and reverted on both occasions. I have no argument about such reversions as no reason was given. However I had a look at the reference which reads "‘High risk of radicalisation’ Canterbury Boys High School in southwest Sydney was identified as a prime candidate for the introduction of a state government-funded program to counter violent extremism, after several students were identified as being at high risk of radicalisation. The school — whose 2013 dux, Samir Atwani, fled to Syria to join Islamic State shortly after graduating — was recently identified by the Department of Education alongside Punchbowl Boys High School as in need of specialist support to ensure that further students did not succumb to extremist behaviour, The Australian has learned." This makes no mention of any "anti-religious programmes" Hence I think the sentence in the article is misleading. I intend to again delete the sentence concerned with reason "Not a neutral statement and not supported by the reference".Fleet Lists (talk) 00:27, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Fleet Lists, thanks so much for letting me know, and I apologise for not checking the reference. As you said, my reason for reverting was “no reason given”. Cheers, Skingo12 (talk) 00:31, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
