Assessment Review
[edit]This article was assessed as "Stub" class on the Wiki Schools Project. More content and references are needed to raise this article to "Start" class or higher. Hence, I have added this article back to the school "Stub" articles group. Camaron1 | Chris 14:28, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- I disagree with this assessment. A stub is an article with just a few sentences. While there's a lot more work to be done on this article, it's definitely longer than a stub. It already has two sections (introduction and present day) - in general, stubs aren't long enough to be broken into sections like this. -- Waggers 15:07, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- Stubs can be longer than a few short sentences, these article were all rated as stubs...
Articles need to be the length of these articles to be "Start" class or higher...
This article was marked as "Stub" class by another editor, I agree with this assessment. If you want to have this assessment reviewed, please leave an assessment request here. Camaron1 | Chris 15:39, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- I think there's a difference between what WP:Schools thinks is a stub and the rest of the WP community, but ultimately it doesn't matter as long as the article gets improved so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it -- Waggers 20:48, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
Re-assessment
[edit]This article has changed significantly recently so a re-assessment has been completed, though this article was re-rated recently by user MasterEditor99 (talk · contribs). The "Start" rating given has been endorsed, this article is no longer a stub but does not yet meet requirements for "B" class. However, the importance of "High" has been changed to "Low" - there is not enough evidence of uniqueness or alumni for this school to reach even "Mid" importance for the WikiSchools Project. The feedback from this assessment is as follows: A lengthy article with a lot of potential to reach "GA" class. Unfortunately, the article currently looks like an essay and needs to be split into multiple sections with repetitive content cleaned up. Some sections of this article also seem to be opinion based and lack references, creating possible NPOV issues. Camaron1 | Chris 18:29, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
Changes made
[edit]Hi
I recieved a notification saying my edits to this page have been deleted.
However, living near the school, and having friends who go to the school, I feel I have the evidance, and suitable sources. If you'd like, you could talk to the school to see if the events happened. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SHTR (talk • contribs) 13:13, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- Absolutely not. Please read up on our policies regarding reliable and verifiable sources. Rklawton 13:17, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Well then, how am I supposed to provide verifiable sources? How am I supposed to knwo the precise edition of the newspaper "The Daily Echo" to provide the verifiable source. How also, for example, am I able to provide information on further scandals that have happened in the school that have been kept quiet (For example, one student recieved permanant back injury after being pushed down a flight of stairs by a fellow student, who did not recieve punishment) —Preceding unsigned comment added by SHTR (talk • contribs) 12:08, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
Just so you know
[edit]Hi
Just so you know, I have edited out the picture of a student that was on the page, on request of the student himself, who claimed the image to be offensive, but does not know how to edit it.
