  • "Candyman" was described by Aguilera herself as a tribute to The Andrews Sisters' 1941 song "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy".[ → You said this in the previous paragraph. To be honest, I think the recording para of the previous para would be better worked into this section.  Done

Outcome

Looking at the previous failed GANs, looks like you've worked hard to amend all of those issues. On hold for 7 days.  — Calvin999 09:40, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Calvin999: All done. So fast and furious! Simon (talk) 10:01, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Still issues with the genres.

  • For swing, the source says "a faux-swing track that’s really just a stylistic mish-mash". Faux means false, so it's not really a swing song.
  • For pop and blues, the source says "The pair evidently set out to contemporize classic pop and blues of the '20s, '30s, and '40s, but wound up aping the Andrews Sisters (and ripping off ``Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy") on ``Candyman,". It does explicitly say that "Candyman" itself is a blues track, or any of the tracks for that matter.

So, blues need to be omitted from the lead because it's misleading. And you've still got jazz in the lead, which is unsourced altogether.  — Calvin999 10:07, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Calvin999: How does it look now? Simon (talk) 10:16, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
