Edits
[edit]Just wanted to explain some of my edits, because sometimes the edit summary isn't enough! :)
I removed the "Articles and interviews" and "Prankster" sections because they're more of a fan thing than encyclopedic content (and other actors' articles don't have such sections - at least, the ones I've seen). I also cleaned up the "TV appearances" section, because it was just copied straight from IMDb. I think it could be reduced to 'notable' TV appearances only, rather than listing every TV episode she's ever appeared in, but I can't really make a judgement about what's notable and what's not because I haven't heard of most of the series listed. I have also added italics to all the TV series and film titles, in accordance with MOS:TITLE and added more internal links. I don't think the "Trivia" section is necessary, but I don't know how to incorporate it into the article. (I did take out the fact that she's left-handed, as it's irrelevant to her career). Hopefully someone else can make a decision about which TV series are notable and incorporate the trivia in the article, which will improve the article further. - Since it appears we've gone back in time 8 months and the trivia stuff is being reinserted, please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a indiscriminate collection of information. The trivia adds nothing to the article, it just detracts from the important information. No biographical featured articles or good articles list every magazine appearance, nonsense about another actor being a "prankster" or repeats info from the main text within a "Trivia" section. Photos
[edit]Really? Do we really need 5-6 pictures of her in one article? This look like a magazine piece or someone's scrapbook. And pardon me for not using the correct sign-off, I'm not really that involved with wikipedia to care. -Pedestrian, 12:45 21 July, 2009 EST —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.120.25.229 (talk) 16:45, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- I completely agree, this article looks much more like a fashion magazine profile than an encyclopedia article. Im removing the pictures of her 'at a Spa' and 'at a nightclub'. They add nothing of real use to the article. Freikorp (talk) 18:18, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Birthdate
[edit]Her birthdate is listed as Dec 27th 1980. This makes her 14/15 in the airing years of Masked Rider—where she played Barbara Stewart, a married woman who was old enough to have adopted two children, one of whom was a sixteen year old girl. This... does not seem very plausible, and there are no online references that I can find to confirm her birthdate.—124.184.103.61 (talk) 01:45, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
Birth Name - Stage Name
[edit]The IMDB entry at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0070452/bio?ref_=nm_ov_bio_sm quotes Candace as saying, "My real name is Candace Bender but my agent made me change it. Everyone thought he was representing Candace Bergen." I don't think that's trivia. Maybe someone can confirm that work and it into the main page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.177.91.141 (talk) 23:35, 27 March 2015 (UTC)

She's not ethnic Japanese
[edit]This lady is not Japanese, she is Korean pretending to be "Japanese" because of the negativity of being Korean. Many Koreans do this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 175.108.150.141 (talk) 11:32, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
