A fact from Canales Investigation appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 22 October 2017 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that the Canales investigation heard 80 witnesses describing murders, kidnappings, and other crimes committed by the Texas Rangers in the early 20th century?
Latino USA did interviews with the grandchildren of massacre survivors [1] that might provide more background on the effects of the event.
