[edit]Are there no teams in downtown Toronto?--Sonjaaa 05:18, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Canadian?
[edit]How can it be 'Canadian' when all the teams are concentrated into a tiny little corridor in Southern Ontario and Southern Quebec? That's like creating an "American Women's Hockey League" based on 6 teams in the tiny little corridor between Boston and Philadelphia.
Maybe they should call themselves the "Central Canadian Women's Hockey League", or more specifically the "South-East-Central Canadian Women's Hockey League".

- Why are you criticizing? It's just a name. The American Hockey League has teams in Canada. For that matter, the National Hockey League is in two countries. ʘ alaney2k ʘ (talk) 14:53, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
now there is a team in western Canada Ranul (talk) 21:07, 30 January 2015 (UTC)
Plus/minus and save percentage not yet tracked
[edit]For editors, it should be noted that while CWHL layout is showing +/- stats and save percentage stats, these stats SHOULD NOT be referenced. Both of these categories are not tracked every game and, as such, both of these stats are omitted from the lifetime archived/historical stats that are kept. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hockeymedia (talk • contribs) 04:10, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
Penalty minutes
[edit]It can also be noted that the current (2010/2011/2012/2013..) online stat tool at cwhl.ca has mistakes in the Penalty Minute totals. Specifically, team penalties have occasionally been attributed to player totals. The correct Penalty Minutes totals have been tracked in the offline women's hockey statistics database tracked/published by hockeymedia.ca/angelajamesbowl.html. 198.254.254.171 (talk) 04:22, 24 February 2013 (UTC)richardscott187
Shootout goals / scoring correction
[edit]The online stat system for 2011-12 incorrectly attributes shootout goals in the player scoring totals. The offline hockeymedia database has the correct totals. In 2011-12, the 5 shootout winners were scored by Jenna Cunningham (Nov. 19), Jesse Scanzano (Nov. 30), Gigi Marvin (Dec. 10), Lindsay Vine (Dec. 18) and Kelli Stack (Jan. 14). 198.254.254.171 (talk) 03:24, 26 February 2013 (UTC)richardscott187
