Factual updates and additions from NRC Research Press
[edit]I would like to request some updates and additions to this journal page. The information is taken from the NRC Research Press website[1], but is factual in nature.
- Can. J. Chem. was established in 1929, as part of the Canadian Journal of Research. It became a separate journal in 1951.
- It is a multidisciplinary chemistry journal, and covers all fields, both old and new.[2]
- The senior editor of the journal is Robert H. Lipson (University of Victoria, Canada).
- The 2011 impact factor for 2011 is 1.242.[3]
- This journal is indexed in: Chimica, Index Chemicus, Reaction Citation Index, and Scopus along with the databases already present.
- The most recent cover image can be found here.
- Abstracts appear in both English and French.
- The journal is published monthly.
