- ... that the Canadian Dental Care Plan is currently being rolled out by the Government of Canada to eligible residents? Source: "Applications will first open to eligible seniors aged 87 and older. Applications for other age groups will then be phased in with a staggered approach, with the process opening up to all eligible applicants aged 18 and above sometime in 2025." Canada's new dental care plan could impact nearly 9 million Canadians — are you one of them?

- QPQ done, new enough, no copy vio, everythings fine except the hook seems boring. It reads like a ad and gives no context to who "eligible residents" are. Possible a complelling hook could be made with the 1 million figure?. Questions? four Olifanofmrtennant (she/her) 03:42, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
- Throwing a @Mindmatrix: in. I was just about to review this and had the very same thought. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 03:43, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
- I'll look it over in a day or two when I have time to offer a better hook. Mindmatrix 01:21, 1 April 2024 (UTC)

- A good start for a hook would be ALT1: ... that as of 6 March 2024, over one million applications for the Canadian Dental Care Plan had been approved?--Launchballer 23:09, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
- I guess I should probably ping Mindmatrix.--Launchballer 23:53, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
- @Launchballer, OlifanofmrTennant, and Sammi Brie: Sorry for the delay everyone, I've had to tend to things IRL. Given that the application process started sometime after December 12, I've modified ALT1 as ALT2 (it's actually about 2 months and 2.5 weeks):
- ALT2: ...that in its first three months, over one million applications for the Canadian Dental Care Plan had been approved?
- If not, I'm fine with ALT1. Mindmatrix 11:53, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- Good idea, but I think you should include the '12' in the article.--Launchballer 12:22, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- ALT2 is by far the best one . Questions? four Olifanofmrtennant (she/her) 22:09, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- I agree, but the article does not state when in December the application process started.--Launchballer 22:13, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- The sources that were written on December 12 only state that applications would be accepted soon, but don't state an actual date, so December 12 is the earliest it could have started. I'll see if I can find a start date from other sources I didn't use for the article. Mindmatrix 00:18, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
- Ref #20 says "mid-December", which should be sufficient for the 'three months' claim.--Launchballer 11:58, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
