The past Artistic Director of the Canadian Bandurist Capella, Victor Mishalow claims that the ensemble started in 1991 by linking it with past musical groups that he used to direct such as Toronto Bandurist Chorus, Hryhory Kytasty Bandura Chorus and Canadian Bandurist Chorus (if it ever even existed). As of many years ago, the ensemble clearly considers its initiation in 2001, regardless of what is actually written in the CDs, which Victor Mishalow himself edited. The group initially was called the Toronto Bandurist Capella and only after a couple of years changed its name to Canadian Bandurist Capella. Linking the name to some youth ensembles (that were not incorporated) in the 90s that were under the direction of Victor Mishalow is incorrect. It would be more wise to start a new article about the Hryhory Kytasty Bandura Chorus (formerly known as Toronto Bandura Chorus) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Canadianbandurists (talk • contribs) 18:41, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
