"Senator" Ed Ford:why that nickname?
[edit]Please confirm this radio trivia: that Edward Ford was intorduced at a party in Hollywood, he was misidentified as either a U.S. Senator or a member of the California State Senate assigned to the Sacramento area;he liked it so much that he asked to be ID'ed from then on as "Senator".

- Michaela92399, see Edward Hastings Ford#"Senator" Ford for one version of how the nickname originated. Eddie Blick (talk) 20:40, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
In fact, there's a rumor that of the three Ford dealerships in Sacramento(CA), only Senator Ford was named in his honor...Can anybody verify this?...thanks...Michaela92399 02:01, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
