Moto Guzzi V7/Ambassador/Eldorado/850 Probably redirect all these to a single-page history of this series. Main articles on each one later, if desired.
Wire wheels: Wire wheels#On motorcycles says only main article: Motorcycle construction#Wheels, but that is not a main article, it is a subsection. Bicycle wheel is a better article, but none of these 3 actually explains how spokes support the wheel pre-stressed w/compression.
My attention to the above has been drawn by an editor at the talk page ascribed to my IP address. The article shows an uncited change to the lead and infobox by an occasional editor, indicating Can was born in Alanya, Turkey. I have checked the three refs shown on that revision, including translation from Turkish.
My understanding by listening to UK race commentators on Sky Sports is that the twins were born in Norway to a Norwegian mother and Turkish father, later travelling to live in Turkey. They are now being heralded in the same way as Kenan Sofuoğlu and Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, being groomed and accoladed as future Turkish national sporting icons. Whether they qualify for dual-nationality is beyond the purview of this article.
I have templated the prose as {{citation needed}}, but I don't expect this will endure for long. I surmise that the adding-editor has accessed a MotoGP-type source which may not be correct, but would be offered as adequate under WP:VNT. Pinging CeeGee as originating editor.
I have now experienced massive down-time over the content of this article, and will not search the sources for citation myself due to my scepticism. I expect to make no more changes myself, to avoid any potential criticism of WP:OWNership.--86.29.222.228 (talk) 15:02, 8 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
