None of these are really up to scratch. The first is a scan of a radio add list, but we're not told where it's sourced from (and there's not sufficient information in the scan itself to work it out). The second is to a constantly updated chart, so it longer proves the claim re when the song debuted. The third could easily be replaced with the Billboard page for Janet's chart activity, which is a more reliable source. Can anyone clarify the nature of the scan or provide a better source for either of the first two footnotes? Gusworld (talk) 01:15, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Charts

[edit]

Shouldn't the Bubbling Under peak be deleted as now the song has made it onto the chart that it was bubbling under? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chael39 (talkcontribs) 14:16, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I'll review this article shortly! Simon (talk) 13:57, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Lead

[edit]
  • "...as the fourth and final single from Discipline, on March 18, 2008" --> remove the comma
  • "... who deemed it for being smooth, tender and lovely" --> I'd prefer "praised"
  • "...picking the song" --> and picked

Background and composition

[edit]
  • "Even though not writing by herself" --> Although Jackson didn't write the song
  • "...R&B "smooth and jazzy" ballad" --> "smooth and jazzy" before R&B
  • "Janet Jackson" --> Once you mentioned the full name you should only mention the last name consequently

Reception

[edit]
  • " Allmusic" is now "AllMusic"
  • Unitalicized BBC Music
  • "...but due to its lack of melody, failed to do so" --> but failed to do so due to...
  • I can see that you use to much "of", replace them with "writing for", "from"... or something else

Remix, charts, credits

[edit]
  • Fine

Source review

[edit]
  • Ref #1 should be AllMusic, not Allmusic, and the publisher is All Media Network
  • Ref #9 unitalicized Digital Spy
  • Ref #16 unitalicized BBC News
  • Refs #17 and #18 are not employ with the other refs' dates. Fix it
