Replaced original Article
[edit]My original article came from the official Camp Blanding website, which is a US Army Dot Mil site, and therefore in the public domain due to its governmental nature. I see that the file has been turned over to the Camp Blanding Vets Association, and thus withdrawn from the Public Domain. I think they were wrong for posting the file on the official site in the first place. I reduced the original article to the stub you find here. SSG Cornelius Seon (Retired) 18:57, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
Task Forces
[edit]The article is assigned to the World War I task force of WP:MILHIST, but the narrative indicates establishment in the 1930s, This inconsistency needs resolution. --Lineagegeek (talk) 18:12, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
Blanding as a Reception Station for returning vets at the end of WWII
[edit]Just so someone who cares might want to know, I have papers ordering my father to report to Reception Station #19, Camp Blanding, Florida after the war in the pacific ended and he was sent home. There is no mention of the this use of Blanding in the article.69.116.29.4 (talk) 15:31, 10 November 2015 (UTC)rspear
