[edit]Proposed Changes
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. |
Specific text to be added or removed:
- Name of page should be changed to "Camilla Care" and "Camilla Care Community" moved to former names
- Owner should be changed to Partners Community Health [1]
- Website should be changed to https://camillacare.ca/
- Suggest new section: NOT-FOR-PROFIT OWNERSHIP: In November 2021 it was announced that Partners Community Health (a not-for-profit organization) and Trillium Health Partners had entered into an agreement with Sienna Senior Living to purchase Camilla Care Community. As of April 1st, 2022, Trillium Health Partners purchased the building and land that the home is situated on, while Partners Community Health acquired the 236 long-term care bed licenses and operations of the home. As of April 1st, 2022, the home is now known as Camilla Care and is operated by Partners Community Health, a not-for-profit organization.
- Also suggest clarification under "COVID-19 outbreak, deaths" - the year "2020" should be added to "March 30 to June 7" and "June 16"
Reason for the change:
- As of April 1st, 2022, the home is under new management and has a new name.

- Not done for now: Independent sourcing wasn't provided for the name change, nor do the 2 independent sources state anything about it. Owner is not PCH, them operating the facility as stated in the references. Rest has been fixed. Thank you. PK650 (talk) 01:08, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you. There are at present no independent sources for the name change unfortunately, so makes sense that cannot be updated. For the ownership, as per the references provided, the building is now owned by Trillium Health Partners and the business (operations and bed licenses) are owned by Partners Community Health. Suggest updating "Owner" to "Trillium Health Partners and Partners Community Health." Post-April 1st, 2022 it is now inaccurate to for the page to say "Owner: Sienna Senior Living." Thank you.
