This article needs a lot more information and formatting. I'm going to get started on it, but would love some help from someone more experienced. JWAbrams (talk) 18:34, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is an earlier attested usage of camel cavalry in the Battle of Qarqar (853 BC); which I think is worth mentioning.Xevorim (talk) 23:32, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Camel cavalry

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Camel cavalry's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "witness-pioneervil":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 14:17, 18 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal with Camel archer

[edit]

As it says the Camel archer is a form of Arab archery, why not merge it with that one instead (and put appropriate pointers in this article)? Laterthanyouthink (talk) 03:49, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds reasonable; I've launched the alternative proposal elsewhere and removed the templates suggesting a merge here. Klbrain (talk) 10:35, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
