Why a fictitious callsign/qsl card used?

Is this even required? I think it diverts from the center of knowledge wikipedia is supposed to be, we can't start making things up (not to mention this callsign is invalid!) 78.32.115.66 (talk) 16:43, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
