The California Winter League will start play in 2010 represented by four teams based in the Palm Springs area (the Chill), Palm Desert (the Coyotes), Cathedral City (the Canada A's) and Coachella/Indio (the Snowbirds). It is the second winter league in the desert Southwest while the Arizona Winter League still in operations. + 71.102.3.86 (talk) 02:52, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
- 10 years gone by. They own and operate the Palm Springs Collegiate League in 2018 and in 2019, they have 4 teams. They are the PS Power, California (Alberta in winter) Grizzly, High Desert Haymakers (Midwest in winter) and Palm Desert Coyotes who still have a facebook page. There were 6 teams in their first season, however it is subject to change every season, like the California Winter League now at 10 teams. 67.49.85.100 (talk) 01:52, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
- Blythe Heat are no longer in operation, same with the Middle America team. The web page finds 10 teams in operation, while the list shows overall 16, which I believe should be kept as a reference of current and past teams. There's an instructional collegiate league in the California Desert with teams in Blythe, Imperial, Lake Havasu City and Yuma AZ. 2605:E000:100D:E482:E548:3B13:5954:CCA4 (talk) 15:50, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
