[edit]It doesn't seem worthwhile to have both California Department of Education and California Superintendent of Public Instruction. Perhaps the latter could be a subsection of the former? — Chris53516 (Talk) 14:29, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Vacancy?
[edit]In the graph, it says during a period, there was vacancy (nobody). It should be said who or what was the big boss during this time.--Archeopteryx (talk) 01:10, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- So far as I know, there was nobody filling the position. The permanent bureaucrats of the department continued to run the department, and the various boards on which the Superintendent sits had one fewer voting member. Argyriou (talk) 00:45, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
Other language names
[edit]- Aside from the obvious Spanish name (misspelled here, but we know what the document creator meant to say), we have:
- Chinese: 加利福尼亞州教育局
- Hmong: California Lub Rooj Tsav Xwm Saib Xyuas Tej Kev Kawm Ntawv (there is no Hmong Wikipedia, but the description can go in the Commons)
- Vietnamese: Sở Giáo Dục California

- The PDFs are behind a login, and are not accessible. The interwiki links don't actually exist. Do articles in other languages exist? Argyriou (talk) 00:31, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- Not yet - Only Spanish. The PDFs may have been removed since I posted them. WhisperToMe (talk) 04:30, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
