Jane's Fighting Ships of World War II
[edit]- Janes says that your Leeds Class was actually the Montgomery Class, and consisted of
- Caldwell
- Castleton
- Chelsea
- Lancaster
- Leamington
- Mansfield
- Montgomery
- Richmond
- Salisbury, and
- Wells
Additional classes of lend-lease ships in the British navy were the Burnham Class, Newport Class, and Leeds Class.
The actual Leeds Class consisted of
- Leeds
- ludlow, and
- Lewes
BTW, the Town Classes were named for towns and vilages common to both the USA and Britain.
