Executions

I feel that the constant use of the words "execution" and "executed" is a bit jarring in this article. How appropriate is it really? The article talks about "assassins" in relation to the Gang members, and that seems a more appropriate word for what happened on Bloody Sunday as well, at least in one or two places ("execution attempt" really jarred!). Scottish Highlands

Not to my knowledge, most of them were of Irish descent but gained their military experience in the Middle East or Russia.--Leowatkins 18:32, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

Cairo Group?

I have, at least for now, removed the alternate name "Cairo Group" from the opening. I have never seen it refered to by this name in any book on The Tan War that I've ever read. A quick search on Google only brings back relevant links here on Wikipedia. If I am wrong, please tell me so, and I will be happy to be reverted if there is a reference that says this was also a common name.

Oh, and I also removed the unreferenced assertion about British intelligence documents indicating that the Cairo Gang did have common ties to military work in the Middle East during WWI. Once again, if there is a reference for this, it should be put back in, but, as it stands, the issue is debated. ---RepublicanJacobite_{The'FortyFive'} 21:19, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Number Killed?

The Bloody Sunday (1920) article says 14 members of the Cairo Gang were killed. Obviously there is disagreement, since this page says twelve, "eight of whom were members of the Cairo Gang, a British Army Courts-Martial officer, the two police cadets and a civilian informant." (I've also made a similar comment on the Bloody Sunday (1920) page.) Lizconno (talk) 03:38, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Photograph

Does anybody know the names of the individuals in the photograph. Interestingly none of them have mustaches. The photographs of Bagally and Dowling? have mustaches. Agreed. A little more information on the context and content of this photograph would be very useful. AFAIK it was in the hands of the IRA, hence the inked numbers which identified the individuals depicted. ANB (talk) 12:54, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Morehampton Road

"At 117/119 Morehampton Road, Donnybrook". Is the number of this house is too similar to the street number in Baggot Street (119)?. Can an authority please supply the correct number? The map/sketch in the museum indicates a number and location. But based on today's buildings (by my reading) they do not correspond.
