Move page to cafe au lait macule?
[edit]I propose moving this page to cafe au lait macule,as I feel most scientific sources refer to these lesions as macules rather than spots.Anyone agree? Immunize (talk) 23:24, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
Still no response? Immunize (talk) 23:46, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
- I think the move would not be helpful. A Google search for "Cafe au lait spot" returns over 100,000 hits, whereas "Cafe au lait macule" returns around 14,000. I suggest making sure both terms are in the first sentence of the article since this is what Google usually displays. Graham Colm (talk) 08:51, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- Ngram shows a very similar use of both terms in the academic literature [1]. The redirect pages using each term are used fairly equally. Bibeyjj (talk) 13:47, 26 May 2021 (UTC)
