Fair use rationale for Image:Re album.gif

[edit]

Image:Re album.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:22, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Album...

[edit]

"On July 17, 2007, Cafe Tacuba unveiled another new song entitled "Outsiders" on a taping for Mun2's television show Vivo. The band also revealed the name of the new album and Ruben's new moniker for the album."

Which are...? Vicco Lizcano 13:13, 18 July 2007 (UTC) (Hey! Listen!)[reply]
It was hard to tell. I was the one who made said changes. It was really hard to hear the band because their microphones weren't on in the studio, but the new album is entitled something like "Sera" and Ruben's new name was really long. Sorry about being so vague about it. The new song is definitely called "Outsiders" or "The Outsiders". rainshine2s
Ok, that's fine, I was just being curious. And of course this info would've helped but we'll know for sure later. No biggie. Vicco Lizcano 13:19, 20 July 2007 (UTC) (Hey! Listen!)[reply]

Tacvba, not Tacuba

[edit]

The official name of the band is Café Tacvba, not Café Tacuba, although in their startings it was written with "u". This is because they had some legal issues with the café after they were called, which is named alike the band. So Café Tacuba would be a restaurant in the centre of Mexico city and Café Tacvba would be the band.

Biographies

[edit]

hey guys i noticed there was no biography about the band's musical career so i wrote one myself this morning. feel free to add stuff or edit it, as i was getting super tired at the end haha. overall, i think its pretty good though. hope you like it! thanks :D Basilisk4u

Article

[edit]

I've tried changing this article from Cafe Tacuba (incorrect spelling) to Cafe Tacvba (correct spelling, with "v") and all references of the band within the article, but have had my edits reverted twice. If I'm not allowed to edit and correct this article, then please have someone better qualified make these changes because as it stands this article is incorrect. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Orange2001 ABC (talkcontribs) 12:30, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
