Most common?

[edit]

I propose that Cadence (music) is the most common usage of cadence and that that article should be moved here and this disambig at Cadence (disambiguation). Hyacinth 11:03, 23 February 2006 (UTC) ++General++ Another common definition of cadence encompassed written or spoken words, and was the most commonly known amongst the general public who did not study music: Rhythmic or measured flow, as of poetry or oratory (Funk & Wagnalls). There is NO reference to written or spoken use/definition on the disambiguation page. It should be added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bzbee9000 (talkcontribs) 17:04, 30 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Software Cadence

[edit]

Strange no mention of cadence as applied to software development. Cadence being the rhythm and frequence of releasing a piece of software. Example in usage — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mj1856 (talkcontribs) 19:33, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

– Multiple people have mentioned this on this talk page already, and I agree. Cadence (music) refers to the primary topic of this article. Ngrams. — Mr. Guye (talk) (contribs)  22:05, 15 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
